It's actually pretty stable. I'm still getting used to it, and I'm sitting a little rigid in the boat, need to develop some flexibility in my hips. No problems in up to 15 mph gusts (that may be high, I'm using the take the angle between the bottom of the flag and the pole and divide by 4 trick to estimate) on Monday, even with my skill level.
