: get some feedback on whether you would like/participate in a self rescue
: workshop I have proposed to Michael
: for Sunday morning of the event. This workshop is described as the following:
: Solo and Assisted Rescue Workshop
: Paddlers will learn to do a paddle float, self rescue
: and a Two Boat T Rescue with a British style variation.
: If you don't have a reliable roll you need to know these techniques.
: Here's your chance to learn them. To participate you must have a wet
: suit/ dry suit, working paddle float, nose plugs, spray skirt and
: paddle. You will get wet!

: You should be able to do these types of self rescues for your safety and
: piece of mind. These rescues are often overlooked because they are not
: as sexy as learning to roll, but they are much easier to learn.

: It does help to have instruction and comrades while learning these self
: rescues.
