I finished a Tern 14 in the spring. It is a bit small for me (5'11" 180lb - size 11 feet), but it is a great day boat. My feet are the main issue. My teen boys love the boat. I find it very stable -- even in a leaned turn. My boat weighs in at 32 lbs with bulkheads and a stern hatch. Even my 11 year old can carry it from the house to the dock.

I'm just putting on the deck of an Osprey Std. This is a boat closer to my size. Now I can paddle with one of the boys. The next step is a third boat so all three of us can paddle.

On a side note, I've carved all the paddles and that was almost as fun as the boat.
