We replaced the tongue with a 13 ft. piece of 2-1/2" sq. 3/16" wall tube. It extends about 18" behind the trailer for the rear mast.
For the wiring we mounted a 4" sq. sealed metal junction box under the frame. The wires were spliced at the coupler and split at the box.
