After buying Nick's book and lurking on this forum for the past month, I've decided to take a shot at building a Guillemot (a Guillemot "L" actually) - using the offset table from the book.

Since I have access to a plotter, I used EXCEL (as Nick suggested) to loft the forms. It worked great, but to my untutored eye, two of the forms look a bit strange. The forms for the 9' and 10' stations both have distinct "shoulders" (concave curves) located in the deck area, 8" out from the centerline. I don't have a clue if this is correct or not - it's entirely possible that I misread the table entries for the 8 inch buttocks at those locations.

So, are the concave areas correct? Or have my aging eyes betrayed me?
