In Response To: Strip: Gorilla vs Elmers... (Ted)

I used polyurethane (not Gorilla brand) glue on my last stripper. The main reason was I'd had some problems with 'creap' using PVA glue. The PU does seem to have been the better glue after 6 months of use. The polyurethane was slow to 'kick' so had a longer clamping time, and the 'toxic' warning had me wear gloves while stripping. However it didn't clog the paper while sanding, filled any gaps I had and doesn't seem to go soft in hot sun. The colour is also a close match to WRC. So overall I'm happy with it.
