But it doesn't really matter - all that you're doing is holding the scarfed strip together long enough to a)- get it glued between two adjacent strips in one piece, and b)- get it and the rest of the deck / hull sandwiched between two layers of fibreglass cloth (which gives it the strength). I used TiteBond on two strippers with great success - after two years they're still hanging together and I know that they've got many more years in them.

: Does anyone have experience with Gorilla glue for scarfs? It claims to be the
: strongest would glue there is. Or is it better to just stick with Elmers
