Go for it, Kurt - my first boat had knots because it was the best wood I could find at the time. The second boat only had one hidden knot, but then almost all the wood is hidden in an SOF. The third boat has knots because I've grown to like them. Fact is, I've got a whole lineup of knotty boats planned. (In spite of what the link says, the King still isn't finished. Got to have it done for the Green River trip the end of the month.)
