: wait until you fit your boat to get started advancing your skills. There
: are lots of maneuvering, sculling and bracing skills you can master
: without leaving the comfort of your boat and they don't require a tight
: fit.

: The easiest and fastest thing would be to find a qualified instructor nearby
: and sign up for a class that would include self rescue for when you
: mis-judge your braces You can then practice what you learn on your own.
: This would be $$ well invested and would get you headed in the right
: direction without trying to figure it out on your own.

At this time I have not had success finding someone local for instructions. I agree that it is money well spent.
