I built an SLT this spring, it was a slow build since I had limited time/evenings and went stapleless. I have yet to launch it, so can't even comment on the handling. Still need to put bulkheads, hatches, sand & varnish.
I built it for my 12 & 16 yr daughters, put in a big cockpit recess to hopefully allow for their shorter torso. A friend built the SLT too, and his wife is very happy with it.
