: Well the first 2 Van Dusen Mohawk K1s are complete and we are ready for
: production. Sorry about the semi- commercial plug but as a long time home
: builder this is my first endeavor as a commercial boat builder and I am
: excited. The first two Mohawk’s weighed in slightly under 15lbs fully
: outfitted. The boats left on a truck for the world championships in
: Atlanta yesterday and we are hoping that last year’s winner of the 1000M
: sprint will repeat in this boat on Saturday.
I've been following your posts with interest. Are you saying the racer will see the boat for the first time within a day or so of the competition? Is that fairly typical in the racing world? Also, if you can say, what does a world-class competition kayak cost?
Thanks,
Jim
