Sometimes anecdotal evidence has to be used in the absense of conclusive "scientific" evidence. Perhaps a poll could be utilized to determine how waterproof PU glues are. I don't know if this site offers the ability to poll, but a poll for boat builders, in general, may determine with pretty good scientific reliability how waterproof PU glues are.
