I just fed the boat building addiction and built a double. My Lab rides in the front. I have a PDF for a dog that has a nice handle on the back to help her get back in after she jumps out. I also have a piece of indoor/outdoor carpeting that I put on the deck between the cockpits so she has something to grip onto when she is trying to get back in. It gets taped in place with strapping tape. She loves the water and enjoy going for her afternoon paddle. Use the dog as an excuse to build a new one! Good Luck
