So far I have had pretty good luck with glass and epoxy. Today was not a good day. The exterior seam tape is showing white flecks and the margin with the previously glassed deck is very noticeable. Unfortunately this is not noticeable until the 2nd fill coat of the seam.

What went wrong? Should I remove the tape?

I will try a test comparing the seam tape to strips cut off of my sheet of 4oz glass to see if I can replicate this problem.
