Hey!

I played around with that idea for my boat, but in the end I chickened out and put in more normal bulkheads with hatches in them. How well does it work ? Is there anything in the boat to register the location when it's shoved in, or does it just 'cork' in there? How thick, wide, etc. is the seal?

Sorry to hammer you with questions. If I hear that this really is a workable idea, I may go for it on the next boat.
