My first boat was all bead & cove - this boat was primarily bead & cove on the hull, but no B & C on the deck. I suspect I'll not use B & C in the future. It's too easy to do the bevel, and I can see if the joint is tight. I did make a bench to hold the strip while planing the bevel. Just a 2x8 with a dado to accept the strip. Then by varying the angle of the block plane I can vary the angle of the bevel easily and consistently.
