Here's what worked for me: I gave up on him after the unanswered calls and email. Then about a month later I received an email from him, then in another week after that he called. Seems he is up to his ears in work. I gently fussed at him for not letting people know what the deal is, to which he replied that it makes him "feel terrible to tell folks I can't get to them." He's definitely a really good guy, no question about it. But maybe a tad TOO nice...?

Now I have a 215 cm, 23 oz, 7.5 x 17-inch dihedral touring blade, Werner CF/FG hybrid I might want to unload. Thought it would be kinda short, but it actually works very well for me. My Onno will be 220 cm, perhaps a bit more comfy in my 29" beam Mill Creek 13... we'll soon see.

Might also mention that I finally broke down and ordered a chunk of minicell from Joe Greenley at Redfish Kayaks, and carved a seat out of it. Oh lordy, is it ever NICE!! Had the 'cell at my door two days after order confirmed... thanks a million Joe!
