I visited the Waters Dancing shop two weeks ago and was very impressed with the quality of the boats and the detail they put into their designs. All their boats are very well thought out and the kits are more complete than any other kits I've seen. I really liked how comfortable their seats are and Donnie was very happy to talk shop for as long as I wanted. I also like that he designs and cuts the parts right there in his shop. I got to see the computer setup and the cutting table in action. From talking to him, no doubt he knows his stuff. I paddled Rob Pruden's Lightning 17 and it's a very well behaved boat. Unlike it's owner! But I digress.

I bought a Solace 16LT kit that I'll build for my wife. The Solace 16XL was also a very nice boat. My opinion is this is a sleeper of a company that's small only because they haven't put out the big bucks for marketing and because they're in the prairies of Canada away from the big boating centers. They put out a very good product.
