: ...grasshopper?.....so I just got a house witha garage!and that equals space
: for toolss so what is the most essential tool list..for sticnn glue and
: strip built (as I will attempt the projects in that order...) thanks great
: great site too

for the big ticket items:

for Stitch in Glue

big ass bench, unless you still have a good back and knees

Drill,

Jig saw, or a japanees pull saw, but the jig can be used in the

cedar strip contruction too (stations).

and maybe a RO sander. ( this is needed later for the cedar strip)

Other wise just little things.

for cedar strip

table saw for cutting strips

router (if using bead and cove method)

ROS (told ya, you could hand sand both boats several times though)

band saw, or re-use the Jig saw for cutting the mold stations

I found a bench sander really useful. (scarf joints, smoothing the

stations, makeing fittings etc, not not on the must have list)

Don't worry you can find lots of other tools to justify buying too ;)

I even got a drill press out of the deal (for the Nick Schade foot rest)

Oh oh, I almost forgot, way more clamps than the rest of the neighbourhood combined.

good luck

Myrl
