Yes, I took out Nick's S & G Night Heron - I really enjoyed paddling it - nice boat - surprising amount of primary stability for a 20" wide boat.

Michael Vermouth and crew at Newfound certainly put a lot of effort and work into putting an event like that together - for no profit by the way. Those events always have a lot more work and planing than appears on the surface. I know he was working on it 8 months ago. And, we were blessed with two spectatular weather days. It's a great event and good excuse to take a two or three day mini-vacation with wood kayaks, and friends. Great Weekend!
