I am done stripping my OI and noticed as I prep for sanding that in a few locations the sheer strip has come away from the forms. In some spots I can easily push it back. In others, it takes some real force to get it fair. (This is my first boat using stapleless, and I used hot glue to place the sheer strip.)

Any ideas on a good way to get the sheer strip fair. I am afraid if I don't take care of it now, after I glass I won't be able to evenly join the deck and hull.
