I paddled it a bit, but without a skirt. It seems fast, maneuverable, and it has a really nice secondary that kicks in just as the coaming approaches the water while edging the boat. What struck me is the fit. The deck underside/thigh brace really made me feel locked in. Yet the keyhole makes it easy to enter + exit.

I can't comment on the skeg, as I paddled in calm wind and no waves.

The dyed okoume looks really cool on a nice sunny day; in the right light, it seems to emit it's own colored glow. Almost metallic. In a way, some of the panels reminded me of colored anodized finish on aluminum, like the colored MagLights.
