Do you mean horizontal as in ... it goes from the shear directly through a sharp 90 degree angle to the deck? If so ... I can't help ya. But ... if it simply comes up from the shear and makes a tight radius turn. Then ... start with 1/4" square strips and plane a rolling bevel ... the ends of the strip would be wedge shaped and the center would be squareish. Use a little dry heat to finagle some of the twist if necessary. Just keep at it until you're past the tight bends.
