the other folks who've done this a lot more than me can give hints but something I found useful was that you can run a few ozs of slightly thickened epoxy down the interior of the deck/hull seam through the hatchs for the final 4' or so of the seam. This provided a very little fillet to make the tape hold onto easier at the inside of the joint where it's out of reach. The other thing that will happen is that you'll put in an endpour that's sloped on either side so you don't have a big block in the middle.
