Dan, I've been so traumatized by the thought of trying to roll a cylinder of wet glass tape that I never attempted it. I should have a t-shirt that says, "Can't follow directions". Working through the hatches it wasn't hard to stick a 4' piece of wet tape on the end of a flat stick, about 1 1/2" on top with the rest hanging down like a bow, I'd reach in and lay the tape down with the tape at the end pulling off as I gently pushed the stick the last inch. After that I could work on the closer sections.
