For the high end they chose the Powermatic at $749 (that would be my choice, I like Powermatic stuff)
Midrange was the Ridgid. $449.
Budget model was the Yorkcraft at $329, Which is basicaly the same machine as the Delta for a lot less money.
Don`t forget that most of these machines (including the delta)are made in Tiawan by the same few factories. Often they will make parts for different brands at the same time in the same place, with the only difference being the color of paint.
FWIW I have a Delta bandsaw and drillpress and they both suck and needed more adjusting and tweaking than any other machine I`ve had.
I have a Jet jointer and it is sweet.
