I know that trauma. And I oversimplified my previous post a little. I couldn't believe that a soggy-wet roll of tape was going to go down nicely. I mostly relied on the syringe-laid bead to provide the wet-out. I just wet the outer layer or two of the roll to provide an anchor point for the rest of the roll-out. Just drizzled it over the roll rather than giving it a dunk. I did each seam in three sections - center as far as I could reach from the cockpit, then fore and aft with the stick-tools. My longest piece was abt 6'. No exterior hatches to ease the pain.

FWIW, this was in excess of plans. The instructions only had tape running as far forward and aft as can be easily reached from the cockpit. Going the whole way seemed like cheap enough insurance.
