: Dear folks, have just finished the 1st fill coat on my little boat and am
: aware that where I have an edge on the glass, for instance a second layer
: in the lay up (smaller pieces on the outside as per Nick's book)or where
: one of the glass threads has pulled away from the edge a bit there is a
: definite bump. Should I consider sanding that smooth now (being careful of
: the structural glass) or wait until after the final fill coat.
: thanks

Hi, David
I've had that problem before. I sanded it off using care not to disturb the rest of hte glass. Using a dremmel with a pointed grinding bit is especially good for delicate touchups like this. if you leave the bump it will grow and be more of a task to clean up later on.
