: I just bought my first dry top and now know why ww and cold-water paddlers do
: crazy things. They are suffering from oxygen depravation and loss of blood
: flow to the brain.
: My neck gasket is so tight that I find it hard to breath! Any suggestions
: before I start cutting down the neck gasket?
: Sage
One thing I did (and will probably have to do before I start wearing my dry top again) was to put a large-diameter wine bottle (or some other) in the neck gasket and let it sit for a week.
I think the gaskets are made the way they are so that they'll fit people with thin necks, and people with thicker necks (like me) can trim them down to size. As Pete said, follow the rings and cut conservatively.
