Whoa!

First strips on the Expedition Single this weekend.

Ended up with running the strips through a thickness planer after all, you can see it on the table. Only minimal tear-out, and only on the WRC strips, not on the wengé nor on the Oregon Pine. So i hope this will give a nice result.
Sorry for the blurriness, but it was just around sunset, and batteries went out on the cam, immediately efter the pic.

Must say i am pretty satisfied with the outcome son far, my craftsman skills has expanded alot, and my confidence even more so. My only anxiety is that my setup is misaligned, or will become misaligned during winter, but i guess all 'yak builders has been through that phase :-)
