A matter of perspective?

It's interesting that Kokatat suggests stretching and Stohlquist doesn't even mention it, but suggests trimming immediately. Also, I have a size 17 neck, so there's no way I can stretch a seal to fit me without damaging it. I guess the main thing is to make sure that you're comfortable in your drytop or suit, so you'll wear in when you should and enjoy yourself while doing so.
