I went through all of the loops and finally got the phone number for who to call in Washington state. I told the lady on the phone that I wanted a HIN so she said she would send me out some information on it. So the result of her efforts was that I got a paper in the mail telling me where to put the stickers on the side of a power boat, and that's all I got. I don't think she even knew what a HIN was. It was right before R2K3 so I didn't have time to follow up and get back on the track after being derailed once again. I'll have to give them another call once I get back from my kayaking in Canada trip that is coming up.
