...trimming 1/16" at a time from a latex seal? Is that Kokatat's idea of a joke? In my case, it would take me all day to trim one. ;-)

I typically start by taking off 1/4" at a time until the gasket is nearly tolerable, then 1/8" at a time until I'm happy with the fit.
