its on the outside as those are the lines that define the surfaces designed.

so for typical outside corners, you'd bevel the inside and still maintain the designed surfaces. by rounding the outside corners afterward you just allow the glass to drape, but the surface location does not change.

however, it all changes for inside corners, usually panel lengths would be defined by the outside surface, so if the builder bevels the outside surface away, the yak will change shape. minor concerns unless tight inside forms are used to define/constrain the shape. then the panel needs to be cut/designed wider to allow for a bevel reducing the effective width.
but usually inside curves are slight and one'd just not make the panels wider AND not bevel and it'll work fine.
