: Absolutely fantastic!
Did you use artificial sinew to do the lashing points?
Here is a kayak I finished this spring . It is 13'9" X 21.5".

: It is mostly yellow cedar with a pegged and lashed frame. The finished boat
: weighs about 24 lbs. Lightweight was achieved by making the gunnels rather
: small 9/16" X 1 1/4" . They are plenty strong. Chines and
: keelson are red cedar. The rear deck is flat to make entry and exit
: easier. The cockpit opening is about 27" long . The hoop is floating
: and now has a lip on it. A fun kayak easy to pick up.
: Skin is 9 oz poly from Dyson . Coating is clear acrylic roof coating from
: Black Knight looks and handles just like Flecto water based varathane but
: is quite a bit cheaper.
