Strip: Rolling bevel. How bad am I off? *Pic*

Stripping a Guillemot Expedition Single, and since i'm a newbie, all kinds of questions keep popping up. I have planed the outside of the strips, and am trying to keep the strips "perfectly" aligned, to minimize planing and sanding when stripping is done.

Q's are :
Are my joints tight enough, or should i be more precise when plaing the bevel ?
Shown pic : around the bow, where there is about 1mm gap on the outside. Find it pretty hard to get it better, or more accurate than that, at the curved sections.

http://w123.homepage.dk/images/pict1330.jpg : along the side, gap is "zero".

http://w123.homepage.dk/images/pict1326.jpg : just a look down the side, the last 10' strip of the weekend glued on.

As you can see, the carpenter glue does not fill the cracks completely. Will a filler coating of expoy take care of that later. Somewhere i read about air bubbles hiding in the joints, and showing in the epoxy after putting on cloth and resin ?

Personally, I'm really happy with the outcome so far, and I think that the strips actually have a tighter fit that I would ever have expected.
How far should i go for the perfect strip-joints ?

Thanks.

Jesper
