Jesper...it looks to me like you're doing fine. It's hard to tell even with the pictures you included. The angle of the bevel changes along the length of the boat. I usually take one strip at a time, set it in place, make a mark so I can continue to set it back in the same place. Then I start at one end and plane a couple of feet, test fit that area...if it's ok...I move down and plane another few feet, test fit that area...and so on. This way you get a good fit for the entire strip before applying any glue. I try to make the outside fit tight, but not worry a whole lot about the inside...though I also like the inside tight (I am speaking relativity here), I just don't worry about it as much. It gets easier with experience. The planing and fitting is actually quite soothing for me. You are going to get some cracks. It's no biggie. If you get a crack and are not happy with it...simple do it over. Once I've done all the strips, planing, sanding, and fairing, and the hull looks good I apply a coat of epoxy. THEN...I mix up some goopie colored with the sanding dust, and search for any little cracks, or holes, to fill. There are a number of ways to do these steps. Others will have ways they've developed that will prove quite satisfactory. You may even try a combination of methods and come up with a way that works for you. You can combat outgassing by doing your fiberglassing when the temperature is falling...such as the afternoon, or evening. Don't take what any one person says as gospel, though. Research, question, and experiment until you find a method that works for you. Boy...aint this stuff fun?
