I do not know more than I'm letting on. To quote Sargent Schwartz from Hogan's Heros - "I know nutheen." I just stumble around until I figure it out. :-) THAT, I'm fairly good at. I'm nothing if not persistent. Obviously, or I would have given up ages ago.
I cut off small pieces and cut and shaped them and it took three tries to get an arrangement that fit half decently. Then, using the best one as a model, it still took me two tries on the actual gunnel to get it to fit. But, the final one was the best fit yet, so I'm getting better! Thank God for actually making progress on the learning curve. Think how discouraging it would be if it never got better. Being a perfectionist doesn't make it any easier either. Twas a bit of a frustrating weekend, but the end result was some small progress and hope that this, too, I can do.
I must be a real masochist. I'm almost eager to try a strip with running bevels.
