: Hello John,
: great idea. I may have the same problem here in Germany - temperatures are
: falling. My question: if there is no solar energy, how do you heat the
: tent?
: Joachim
Hi joachim,
I am using a slow setting non-blush epoxy so in this cooler weather it is really slow but it will set up over time. So the main thing is to keep the bugs and dust off of the boat and the tent is pretty much doing that. Putting light bulbs under the tent sounds like a good idea and I was thinking of a few overhead heat bulbs shining down on the boat as long as you don’t get them too close to create hot spots. But I can wheel the boat out into the sun tomorrow to finish the epoxy set up. I have already set up my first layer of fiberglass this way and I am working on second layers along the keel, bow and stern now.
