: Have to agree with Rob on making a big distinction between what we do
: personally vs. posting on-line what we do personally with the implication
: that others should/could do it as well. What we do personally only has
: repercussions to us personally (and those who love us personally). What we
: post on a forum may carry a weight of authority that we don't intend it
: to. Especially if the poster has the reputation of an experienced builder.
: While we are all personally responsible for what we do ourselves, I
: wouldn't want to be the one to have given unsafe advice to someone who
: took it and then got hurt. I don't need the bad karma. I've done things
: with a circular saw that I shouldn't have. I now have a table saw that is
: far safer if for no other reason than I always know where the blade is and
