...for pointing at that safety should be upper most in our minds at all times. It is true that all of us should be cautious about what we say with regards to safety. There ARE some things I do that I would never recommend for someone else to do...especially a novice woodworker. In a woodworking career that has spanned more than 40 years I have all my fingers. I've only cut one finger badly when doing something incredibly stupid with a sheetrock knife....and that was more than 30 years ago. In actuality I have have winced and cringed at some of the things I've seen written on this forum with regards to safety. I just didn't say anything. Thank you, Rob, for seeing the need to say something about safety. A kayak is not worth a finger.
