Oval just the half that is your control hand, then blades are alway correctly where you want them.
You can make a male mold of pink construction foam with the round to oval transition. Glass layers over it. You can break up and dig out the foam with most anything long and narrow (sharp stick, file, metal rod, auger drill taped to rod,etc.)
