Eric,

I think it looks cool. There are many paddlers out there that like the multichines, but would prefer a much lower volume than the Coho or west river series. Well done.

So I guess going much lower in volume would not be wise.

I wouldn't worry about that; I built a designed/built a boat this year that punches through with the best of 'em. I guess that's what you get when you want less volume.

: 3. Rear deck is 9-1/2" high at combing may be a little high but it rolls

Is it 9.5 at the deck, or at the top of the coaming lip? I prefer that the coaming not hit me in the kidneys, but ooching the seating position forward during rolling practice may cure that. Either way, you could recess it somehow.
