you know I wonder if we sometimes make this whole process too complicated. And take this from a guy who hasn't even started on my paddle yet. I'm about 95% done on my Greenland frame. Take a look at www.arcticphoto.co.uk Do a search for "unfeathered paddle" Look at the gentlemen in photo QQ0303-16 and QQ0303-24. I wonder what he would think about all our musings about centerlines and such. I suspect that with the benefit of great teachers, he just "does it".
