Yo Malcolm
I just spent the entire family fortune on a digital camera. I barely know how to make the thing work. But I will post you a couple of photos directly and hot off the press for your viewing pleasure. Vive la technology.
I haven't figured out how to post to the forum yet ..... but give me time. You can post them on my behalf if you can be bothered and think they are worthwhile.
Worn edges = I have been out paddling and using this paddle alot (remember it is paddle number two and not my primary greenland paddle) it is obviously time for a re-oil. Cute chevron pattern was when I used the bandsaw at work and somebody had not set the table square. So when I cut out the blank I got this gark. I swore alot at the time and eventually filled it with wood sawdust thickened epoxy and got this fundamental design when I sanded it back - I can live with that. I think a much more intricate design would be possible with imagination, skill and a chisel.
Cheers Pete
