I have used both Raka and US Composites epoxy here in Southern California. I find them both to be quite satisfactory. The USC may be a bit slower, but I could not detect it. I will have to go with the much lower priced USC epoxy.
The Raka fine weave cloth, however, was a great disappointment. The man at Raka (Larry?) highly recommended it when I placed my order. I put it on the deck of my King and I have to look at that mess every time I paddle. The gist of the matter was expressed on this board by the reply posted by Raka that mentioned that the widespread problem with the cloth was probably due to the lack of experience on the part of the user. That nailed that door shut in my case. Never again for this non-professional, thank you.
