Thank you both for your comments.

Mike asked about the aluminum I use. It's 6061-T6 and is rated as having good
corrosion resistance properties. On my next folder, I'm going to use 6063-T832
grade. It is rated as having excellent corrosion resistance, and has been
tested extensively by Mark Balogh of Balogh Sail Designs. His tests have shown
that it resists corrosion at the insert to tubing connection for extrended
periods of time in a salt water environemnt with no cleaning or lubrication.

Mark uses 6063 for his sailrigs and masts.
