Experimentation is part of what attracts me to boatbuilding. I am not that interested in traditionalism itself but more how traditional ideas can improve what we have with modern materials. I won't be glassing the joints; they will all be tied so the frame can flex. I do want to see how much weight can be saved using modern materials in the frame. Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time
