it was bent as laminated strips not steamed.
the board was all they had. a 1"x4"x4' i cut out a 1X1x4' on the band saw and cut it in half, used half for the front, and half for the back. 0.5"x1"x4'
the strips were 1/8"-ish x 1/2" and i used four strips. most of this got planed off. i used solid pieces for the top deck trim. they are gluing up now and will be shaped tommorow.
