Do any of you good folks have a suggestion for dealing with the following problem? A couple of nights ago we glued the deck to the hull of a Pygmy Arctic Tern. In a few places the deck overhung the hull by up to 1/8th of an inch. I filled all the gaps in the joint last night and am considering doing the following to those areas where the deck overhangs--please, any suggestions would be welcome, especially if I'm going to be doing something stupid (unwittingly). I am planning to take a small block plane to the joint and fair it down. I assume that this will require another round of gluing/filling. Does this make sense, or should I do something else?
